Unexpected Honor Mrs. California 2007

Mrs. United States National Pageant is to pay tribute to the married woman with a pageant system that recognizes the intelligence, success, strength, beauty, and resilience of married women from every state and territory of the United States.

Tracie Stafford becomes the first African American to Win Mrs. California United States.

Tracie Stafford was the chair of the Hands on Sacramento Leadership Council, which promotes volunteerism; she is a past president of the National Association of Women Business Owners, chair of Sacramento City’s Small Business Board, and just appointed by Gov. Schwarzenegger to the California Small Business Board. If that isn’t enough, she is also on the board of the Black Chamber of Commerce, active with the Girl Scouts and on the Board of the Birthing Project, a national organization providing prenatal care and parenting support for women who otherwise could not afford it.
